Acteon Bone Surgery Tip Kit for use with Acteon Piezotome Surgery system
one Surgery™ (BS) tips, principally intended for performing bone grafts, allows cutting, excising and remodeling of bone structures without the risk of soft tissue lesions.
Comprising six ultrasonic tips (three saws and three scalpels) adapted to the different cases that arise in the intraoral environment, the BS Kit is used for dental clinical treatments such as bone harvesting, crest expansion, preparation
of the implant site and accessing the lower alveolar nerve.
The sterile spray helps to cool the tips (thus avoiding tissue damage from exposure to high temperatures) and provides excellent visibility of the operating field.
These tips guarantee a fine, clean and effortless cut.
BS1S
9mm ultra-sharp and robust saw, equipped with four specifically sharpened teeth, intended for in-depth cutting of cortical bone in pre- implant surgery.
BS2L
Bone saw with four teeth, used for cutting the ramus cortical bone. Left oriented, it is used to create vertical and horizontal osteotomy lines on the patient’s right mandible.
BS2R
Bone saw with four teeth, used for cutting the ramus cortical bone. Right oriented, it is used to create vertical and horizontal osteotomy lines on the patient’s left mandible.
BS4
Circular scalpel angled at 130°, for osteoplasty and harvesting of bone particles or chips. Ridge osteoplasty, periodontal surgery, cysts exerisis, etc.
BS5
Flat scalpel, for fine osteotomies. Ridge expansion, thin osteotomy, distraction, preparation of buccal bone flap on thick cortical terrain prior to sinus lift surgery.
BS6
Curved scalpel particularly effective for substantial osseous reshaping. This tip is used to perform osteoplasties and reshaping of the bone not assuring the tooth support. It can also be used to mark a prosthetic reference point on enamel, if needed, where osteoplasty will begin.
