With this unique system – you can work with rotary or reciprocating movement using the same instruments.

Each of the S3 instruments are specially designed and manufactured in NiTi alloy with different flexibility adapted for the role it plays during the root canal treatment.

This is unique to the Sendoline S3 System.

Sendoline S3 instruments are designed with a positive cutting angle enabling you to work with both – continuous rotation and reciprocating movement. This is giving you the freedom to choose your preferred endodontic movement.

You use the first instrument in the sequence, Sendoline S3 no 1 with its traditional NiTi alloy to ensure good straight-line access. Instruments no 2 and no 3 in the sequence are heat-treated. The heat-treated NiTi alloy together with the dimension of the instrument is giving each instrument in the sequence the perfect balance between flexibility and efficiency.

The Sendoline S3 System Glidepath is heat-treated and extremely flexible. You use it to create a mechanical glide path. This instrument you can use with other endodontic systems. All Sendoline S3 System instruments come pre-sterilized, packed in blister.

Step By Step

1. Working length (WL) – Use an ISO #10 manual hand file to establish working length.

2. S3 #1 – Coronal flaring. Will only work in the coronal, first 1/3 of the root canal.

3. S3 Glidepath file – will only work until WL is reached. Establish a glide path respecting the original root canal anatomy, as well as ensuring a safe preparation of the root canal.

4. S3 #2 & #3 – Finalize the root canal preparation using crown down technique. In many cases you will reach WL already with #2. In more severe root canal curvature, you need to continue with #3.
